What changes are included each month?+
Managed hosting includes up to 30 minutes of small text changes to existing pages each month, such as updating opening hours, prices or contact details. Unused time does not roll over. New pages, redesigns, additional functionality and work beyond the allowance are quoted separately and only started after you approve the cost. Email support is also included.
How much will the first year cost?+
At the starting monthly rate, the managed option is £350 + 12 × £45 = £890. With annual hosting, it is £350 + £486 = £836. Domain pricing and any additional services are confirmed in your quote. File handover is £549, with hosting and domain costs paid to your own providers.
What is the hosting commitment?+
Managed hosting has a 12-month minimum term. After that, monthly hosting can be cancelled with one month’s notice. Annual hosting is £486 per year, saving £54 against twelve £45 monthly payments.
When do I pay?+
A 50% deposit secures the project. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before launch or file handover. Payment is by bank transfer. Full details are in the project terms.
How quickly can the website go live?+
Typically within two weeks of receiving your content and deposit, depending on the agreed scope and how quickly feedback is returned. We confirm the schedule before starting.
What do I need to supply?+
Your logo if you have one, text, photographs, service details and contact information. I will confirm the full list at booking. The project terms allow 14 days to supply the agreed materials after paying your deposit.
Can I move my website later?+
Yes. You own the finished website and source files are available on request with managed hosting. Any remaining hosting commitment still applies.
Will it bring me to the top of Google?+
No honest web designer can guarantee that. The build includes search foundations. Visibility also depends on useful content, competition, your reputation and ongoing promotion.
